Manual Bank Account Linking & Verification

If you can't find your bank in the Plaid system or prefer not to log in to your bank account through Plaid, you can manually set up your bank account using just your routing and account numbers.

Please note that this process can take a few days, as Plaid will send you a verification code via an ACH micro-deposit. This micro-deposit code also expires within 7 days of initiation.

Manual Linking

  1. Click on + Add Bank Account in the top right corner of the Bank Accounts page.
  2. Follow the prompts on the screen from Plaid and log in or select Continue as guest.
  3. Under the list of institutions, click on Link with account numbers.
  4. Enter your routing number and hit Continue.
  5. Select Enter account number instead at the bottom of the page.
  6. Input your account numbers and hit Continue.
  7. Follow the remaining prompts to initiate the manual linking process and send the required micro-deposit for bank account verification.

 

Manual Bank Account Verification

  1. Select Spend in the bottom navigation bar.
  2. Tap on the Balance section.
  3. Scroll down and click on Bank Accounts.
  4. Then, tap on bank account with the Pending label.
  5. Select Verify Bank Account.
  6. Then enter the 3-letter code you should have received in the micro-deposit.
    • The code will appear as #XXX ATLAS ACCTVERIFY, as a deposit of $0.01
